Skiing and Snowboarding Snowmass:

With terrain for beginners to experts and everyone in-between there are groomed trails, cliffs or chutes to get the best out of skiing and riding Snowmass!  The mountain offers over 3,000 acres of skiable terrain with 90 runs and 23 operating lifts. There is fun for everyone from adults to kids!

Cross-Country Skiing:

Not feeling the slopes? Cross-Country skiing in Snowmass provides you with a different opportunity to see and explore the mountain. There are many cross-country skiing trails great for beginners to advanced skiers. Great trails for beginners can be found at the Aspen Golf Course and the Snowmass Cross County Center.  Other good trails include Bernese Boulevard and the Rio Grande Trail. For intermediate to advanced skiers try Maroon Creek Trails or Owl Creek.  The Aspen Cross Country Center also offers weekly clinics.

Dog Sledding:

Snowmobiling in Snowmass and around Aspen will be an experience you won’t forget! Take in scenic views of the White River National Forest, Maroon Bells, and Independence Pass. Explore the mountain by snowshoeing in Snowmass. There is no need to be an expert and it is a great activity for the whole family. Take more of a leisurely walk on snowshoes or get a more intense workout on harder trails or in the backcountry. Snowshoeing allows for scenic views and a great time to be had by all.
